Prepare Appstore metadata

Before publishing an App to the Apple Appstore or Google Playstore some metadata needs to be prepared.

App name and Appstore description

An App name needs to be provided to ConfigWise. The App name can be maximum of 15 characters.

Each App needs to have an Appstore description. See our ConfigWise App has an example:

Please make sure to provide a description that suits your business and your service. Apple and Google have written some guidelines that the App name and description should comply to.

iOS Appstore Artwork

The iOS Appstore artwork requires artwork in different sizes. The artwork can also be composed in such way that it will look like a banner.

Android PlayStore Artwork

The Android PlayStore has no required range set of artwork like Apple. The Android PlayStore will divide the artwork by device type.

Screenshot sizes: 320 - 3840 pixels

The following sizes are recommended:

  • 1080 x 1920

  • 2000 x 1300

Minimal amount of images: 5
